Business visa: A businessman/business representative planning to visit Bangladesh for the purpose of trade or commerce is eligible to apply for Business visa. The requirement in this regard is as follows:

Missionary visa:
Diplomatic and official visa: A diplomatic note/letter from the concerned government office/Mission. Media Personnel/Journalist visa: If a visa applicant would like to visit Bangladesh as a Journalist to produce video/TV/film/documentary or to make any report/interview for print or electronic media or other purposes, the following documents shall be required:

If paid in adavance, please attach a copy of the payment transaction receipt with the visa application. Please note that pre-booked appointments are required for visa applications. Please book your appointment from the following link https://services.cgbdsydney.gov.bd/ . The Consulate does not provide any appointment over the phone or email. The applications along with other necessary documents may be sent by registered mail/courier to, or, may be submitted in person at the following address: Consulate General of Bangladesh in Sydney Suite 2, Level 1
N.B.: The Consulate General of Bangladesh is not responsible for documents lost or delayed in mail / Courier. Visa processing time may vary and depends on the category of visa. Therefore, visa seekers are strongly encouraged to apply at least three weeks before the scheduled travel. However, depending on the circumstances, granting of visa may take longer than expected. You should not make non-changeable or non-refundable travel arrangements until you get confirmation that your visa application has been granted. The Consulate is not liable for any financial damage sustained by visa applicants whose applications were processed later than anticipated or were rejected.
