TRAVEL PERMIT

Travel Permit is a one-way travel document for returning to Bangladesh and is issued to a Bangladesh citizen who does not possess a valid Bangladesh passport. The document remains valid for a specified period and cannot be dispatched through postal/courier services. Note: There are some restrictions in place in issuing travel permit. Please call the Consulate during office hours for assistance and suggestions.

Appointments can be booked online from the following link (https://sydney.mofa.gov.bd/bn/site/page/Book-Appointment) The Consulate General does not provide any appointment over the phone or email. Please book your own appointment slot online from the above link of the Consulate’s website. Note: The Consulate is experiencing a high volume of NVR applications at the moment. As a result, the appointment slots are rapidly filling up. We strongly advise you to book your appointment as early as possible to to submit your documents. Where to Apply
The applicant may appear at the following address for the interview with prior appointment booked at https://sydney.mofa.gov.bd/bn/site/page/Book-Appointment or using the ‘book an appointment’ provision at the website of the Consulate. Consulate General of Bangladesh in Sydney Suite 2, Level 1 The application may be submitted in person on week days (excepting public holidays) between 0930 – 1300 hrs and 1400 – 1600 hrs.
